Me at the Hay Festival 2011
Hello. I’m an award-winning freelance journalist based in Manchester, United Kingdom and this is my blog. I write about all sorts: mainly culture, but sport, travel, even a little bit of current affairs from time to time. The site is essentially a place to feature all my work, for publications such as The Observer, The National, Monocle, Metro, Easyjet Magazine… But back in the day before the Internet, I also worked for videogames magazines. I do all sorts, really!
